| Application【应用】 | Heart CA has been used as a standard stock solution for its quantitative analysis using liquid chromatography−mass spectrometry (LC-MS)/MS. It has also been used for liposome preparation. |
| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | Cardiolipin is involved in the dynamic organization of membranes and in cell division. It is implicated in proton uptake pathway. Cardiolipin plays a vital role in mitochondrial biogenesis, fusion and fission, respiration and protein import. It regulates cell wall biogenesis, vacuole homeostasis, aging, cell cycle and apoptosis. |
