A cell-permeable, selective inhibitor of cAMP-specific phosphodiesterase (PDE IV; IC₅₀ = 2 µM). Inhibits superoxide generation and arachidonic-induced platelet aggregation. Also inhibits fMLP-induced neutrophil adhesion to vascular endothelial cells.
